Default Dropped Frames

4 Questions that need answers please...

If you do not drop any frames during capture does that mean that the quality of capture will be identical to the quality of the original if you use the highest possible capture settings.

Will Capturing using IEEE produce the best result or should I use another method?

How much loss of quality should I expect during capture?

Is my system (specs below) adequate?

You haven't actually posted the size of your HDD The figures at the bottom refer to the RAM and paging file (which is generaly 2.5 x the amount of physical RAM).

Your processor speed is a tad on the slow side, but this really only has the impact of slooooooooooooooooooowing down encoding times.

I think I've addressed your other queries in your other post.
