Split L & R Channel Audio into 2 new seperate stereo tracks - How ?
I have Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5.1 and Audition 1.5
Can someone please shed some light on how to split your left and right recorded channels into 2 new seperate stereo tracks ?
I recorded with 2 mono mics - one on left and one on right channel and now wish to balance audio in Adobe premiere between the 2 mic sources.
One mic was wireless and the other a shotgun.
Both mics have slightly different recording levels set to eliminate distortion upon loud audio.
I've RTFM for Audition (v1.5) but must be missing it - although I freely admit to being a noobie
Thanks in advance.

In light of not atcually knowing the answer to the specific question asked...
... do you not get a good balance if you normalise both recordings to the same level?
