I am having trouble importing files from my Fuji finepix 610. I am getting a message saying 'unsupported compression'. Is there a codec that I can download to enable me to import the files straight into premiere?

i got the same error from clips from my Fuji Finepix 4700.
If you do manage it, then don't expect too much. As the source AVI is already compressed it's not likely to lend itself to NLE use likely as not.
