Question exporting for website

Hi can anyone help me? I want to export a video from premiere as a widows media file to use on my website. The video was shot and edited in 16.9 but when I export it, it just converts to 4.3. I think I may have some settings wrong, does anyone know what I will need to do?

Thankyou
B

I remember this problem. Quite annoying. What you need to do is the perform a stretrch of your movie to 16:9 proportions. Work out your sums and export to those sizes.

The video converts to square pixels from 16:9 or 4:3 pixels. 640x360 or 384x216 are good 16:9 sizes for web.

it's been a while but from memory exporting as wmv there is a pulldown list of 'standard' video sizes. What's not so obvious is that you can choose one of them and then simply overtype the new numbers (in the right ratio) that you want.

Of course, I might be remembering things wrong or just how it was a version ago...
