Hi there,

I know this is a common problem with Premiere Pro 1.5 and Adobe has plenty of FAQs and documents to solve it. I´ve read through them but none of them apply to me, mostly since the software and hardware I use is so simple.

Yesterday I was editing normally and then this morning installed the newest nVidia motherboard and ATI graphics drivers. When I started Premiere Pro the next time it said something about audio capture not being possible because audio input is disabled. I was advised to change ASIO settings (can´t remember the exact error I got) and I did. Anyway, I´m not sure if this has got anything to do with my problem.

Now when I try to capture I get the "Can´t Activate Recorder. Try Resetting Camera." I´ve un- and re-installed nVidia and ATI drivers as well as Premiere. I even rolled back my entire HDD to a state 24 hours old, back when the problem didn´t exist!

I´ve got a DFI SLI-D, Athlon 64 3200+, one gig of Kingston HyperX and try to capture from a Sony DCR-HC90E.

Can anyone help me, any comments?
