Hey

I want to create an anim where some text comes out of the video, abit like when pulling something out of water, where first you see the water bend, then as it comes higher it snaps back.
Am I making any sence here?

I would like to do it in After effects, since I doubt Premier Pro would be cable to handle such a task.

What I need is either a guide/tutorial or just some hints to wich effects to use.
