Default Exporting Video for web use?

Hello,
I have recently started to edit videos for a web site. However I'm having trouble finding appropriate video compressing medium/program for exporting videos small enough for easy web downloads.

Editing Programs used: Pinnacle Studio, Premiere
Exproting from: Premiere 6.5
Audio: mp3 file (should this be compressed before importing-what file?)
Length: 1min 55 secs - 400 x 300
Desired size: 4-6mb

I would appreciate all the help possible. Thanks!
Peter Lehto

Start with Windows Media Encoder, which should do achieve the desired results: http://www.marcpeters.co.uk/Windows-...Encoder-9.html for a review and quickstart guide.

There's a variety of presets which will allow you to create small files for download. Choose WMV8 when encoding to maximise compatability.

YES Media Encoder will do a great job compressing the video. There is an option to set the encoder to a streaming video. Also when it is complete it will leave you with a .wmv if desired you can rename the extension to .asf that will allow your users on Netscape and Mozilla to view the file with out haveing the .wmv plugin.
