When I capture footage with prem pro 1.5 I can control the camera but the screen has thick green and pink lines...no footage. Can anyone help? I disconnect the camera and plug it back in..again those pink and green lines...it use to work but not anymore...only once since I first got these lines appearing.

try cleaning the play heads with a cleaning tape.. and make sure the tape itself is clean..

Are these pink and green lines being recorded on the tape or just at the capture stage? It would rule out a problem with the camera if the tape was alright and then you'd have to look at your capture set up? What kind of camcorder do you have? If it is Mini DV are you using Firewire to connect to the computer? If you are using USB then change over to Firewire. It doesn't sound like dirty tape heads, they usually show up as white lines/specks on the screen.
