I have the same problem. I use tuneskit acemovi, although it is fully functional and easy to operate. However, it is not enough to select a single clip for rendering, but only to render the video on the entire timeline.

Looks like you replied to a spammer  Anyway, in order to avoid that you need to minimise all reflections. Start by placing black velvet on your dashboard and see if that works. If it doesn't you'll need to use a black cowl that runs all the way from your lens to the windshield and indeed seamlessly touches both ends so there will be zero reflections coming back from the windshield back to the camera.

There are multiple aspects to this production and editing is just one part / first you’ll need to film some shots - based on your reference example I’d attach a GoPro 8 to your friend’s head, slip him some Crystal Meth or PCP, and send him clubbing - the next part will be editing - you’ll need software like Adobe CS or Final Cut or HitFilm for example / first make sure to consume any remaining doses of Meth or PCP then you’ll be all set - some of the elements of the film (upside down view) can...

However, I'm learning that this was designed for this non segmented VTR.. my intent was to be able to hook up fairly consumer grade composite signals to this device to act as a A / B TBC so I could feed that to my Echo Video Switcher. Do you mean you want your five paraise song clips in one praise song video or in five separate ones? If the latter then this is easy in just about any NLE seftware (eg HitFilm Express) Assuming your whole service is on the timeline, create a time selection containing just the section you want for praise song 1 and "render" that. Rendering is the process of creating a playable video file (eg an mp4) from the clips on your timeline. Repeat for every clip you want to create. No need for new...

One thing you didn’t mention is the nature of videos you intend to take, although you have mentioned travelling. My only stipulation is the fact that it has to shoot at least 4K. 60p and RAW are nice but not necessary. I will probably use it mostly in 24p. I don't think I consciously avoided low angles, I think I just didn't have the option due to the mic stands spoiling them. Thanks for the compliments. I did make mix changes between songs. It could be that the backing singer changed his style and I just didn't compensate enough. Time constraints allowed only one session to mix it, with no time to listen at home and return for revisions. My concern on first listen was that the lead vocal was a bit too crisp, but when I listened to a more...

Very good. I wouldn't sweat the image quality - it's fine and the variety of angles and good lighting is far more important. I'd have liked one or two shots from a lower angle, but I guess you were limited. Soundwise I thought this was fantastic - the guitarist has an amasingly delicate touch for "just strumming" and your recording brought out the dymanics. Mix overall was very good. You get a really full sound. Main vocals sound great (he's got a classic voice for you to work with). I did...

Here's a video I shot a few weeks ago for Folk Alliance International's Folk Unlocked online event. I also edited this, mixed the audio and helped out a bit with the recording. The limitations of using small, cheap consumer grade cameras is pretty apparent to me, but I think it came out okay. The expense of proper pro cameras is prohibitive, and I like that in the budget and carrying case volume of one pro camera I can get at least half a dozen of my little cameras. The poofing away looks like ripped Minecraft particle effects (smoke, specifically) that get zoomed in on and cut/deleted individually. After a long, difficult search (a few months ago), I found this useful article : https://www.xp-pen.com/forum-1595.html Apple iMovie , HitFilm Express , Filmora , Openshot, Shotcut, VSDC, Lightworks, VideoPad and Blender ( 3D ) 9 softwares are free to use. I've been using SHOTCUT for some time now and find it more intuitive than many paid for apps. Yes, that means SHOTCUT is completely free and there are numerous tutorials and examples on YouTube. Do give it a try, you may well never...

Good evening everyone, I hope you all are well! A short walk with my nieces in the snow that we had to see 4 years in area of Kavala and specifically in the plain of Nestos. As you can see, it made sense for us to play a little! Here is the relevant video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sW2aDPYmT6Q

Sorry I never responded back. I'm not sure I saw this. NCH FINALLY figured their bug even though 99% of their tech support is so stupid they don't even know what I'm talking about or they told me that what the issue is isn't supposed to work like that even though it is. Still other bugs, but since I had such a hard time finding a replacement with the simple features I needed, I am going to have to try & make due with NCH. Thanks

Wow, it's been a while, huh? I am looking to record gameplay from Xbox One for editing and uploading. The method I've been using is to use the Xbox "record what just happened" feature, which I've set to 1080p resolution and one-minute lengths. I then transfer them from Xbox to OneDrive, then OneDrive to PC. This works fine and all, but: A) I need a subscription to OneDrive to have the required storage space. B) No party chat. C) Xbox Live storage is full (idk if this really affects...

This is my first post. I know next to nothing about editing a video file. I would like to remove the first 10 seconds of a video file. What is a free Video Editing program that will do this? It has to have a very simple user interface. I don't need any other options, just one that lets me trim off the beginning of my video. Thanks to all who can reply.

Well, you might be able to do it with iMovie or Windows Movie Maker, but a step up from that would be DaVinci Resolve from Blackmagic design. The free version is supposed to be pretty good. I think there's also something called HitFilm.

Hi I’m making a video by combining a bunch of smaller videos and setting it to music. Could anyone recommend some decent free software that won’t have a watermark and will allow me to make the video? It’s a one off so I’d rather not buy any software. Thanks in advance

Camcorder ergonomics have always baffled me. Even making the strap vertical (rather than horizontal) would improve it no end. You're right, of course, phone ergonomics are however even worse, particularly with a folio case. And sometimes you just want to point and shoot without unlocking, finding the app, changing it from the last setting... and missing the silly thing your kid just did. Nothing beats the pointy shootyness of a camcorder. I finally gave up using DSLR's for video a few years...

Marc asks if camcorders have a place in 2021. I say absolutely they do, though it may be rather more niche than it used to. Phones capture superb images - especially if you want just a massive depth of field (and camcorders typcally do not have a shollow depth of field anyway - if you want that go mirrorless/DSLR). They are suitable for loads of stuff. But .... ergonomically I find them horrible. I have mine in a case with a folding lid and this makes it very difficult to hold (but makes...

I can edit 1080p AVCHD footage on a late 2013 MacBook pro with an onboard graphic card, intel i7 and 8GB ram. As Tim says, space (and just as importantly the speed of harddrive) is critical. For the last 5+ years I've edited all my footage using external SSDs. In summary, a second hand laptop with an i7, 8GB ram and SSDs will do for you.

I've owned plenty of different camcorders over the years. They've all served me well but do they still have a place in 2021? It really depends on what you want / need, but for most users a phone will do everything a separate camcorder will do. In my experience the only benefit real benefit is optical zoom. So if you have no need of zoom (and you have a reasonably new phone), I'd buy a few gadgets for the phone. As Tim says, second hand can be an excellent choice. For example the Canon XC10...

Hi, and welcome. I see you've posted this and had lads of answers on avforums. We are a much lower traffic forum here so don't expect much in the way of response. Panasonic have a good reputation for camcorders at this sort of price range and the VXF990 looks like it fits the family. They have always been popular with members of amateur film making clubs. I have a HC-X1 which I've been a bit disappointed in but it doesn't put me off their cheaper (mid-price) cameras. I see someone is...

I don't know Filmora but that spec sounds seriously underpowered. The SSD at 128 is big enough for operating system and software. Yes there's room for some footage but very little. It's not possible to say how much space 1080Pfootage takes without knowing the codec you uses. Typically lower end cameras shoot with very highly compressed footage, which means much more footage per GB. Unfortunately this has to be decompressed by the computer so it requires far more power. One common solution...

I like the look - appropriate Southern US for the country/rock music. There's a good mix of shots but you can never have too many variations with a music video. Try to capture some big close ups: People - eg mouths at microphones, fingers on guitars/keyboards, sticks on kit and feet on pedals: Things - guitar headstocks, drum cases, generally any "gear" you have around and "things" relating to the environment eg here you migt use ropes, capstans, ships wheel etc. Not only will these add even...
