I suspect a missing
'nt in Jerry's post (The image was
'nt put here to impress anybody) was the bit that caused the aggro.
Up to that final paragraph, I thought his response to Andy's "What's the point?" question was perfectly reasonable. Whilst it
can be done in post, given the nature of the intended film, surely it's better to show a true "shooter's eye view", if possible. And that is what Jerry was experimenting with.
And I think his final paragraph has been misinterpreted. I think Jerry was trying to say "I'm not investing a lot of time, effort or money in doing this as I'm pretty skilled at this sort of thing and have access to the appropriate tools" - in other words he was playing it down. Unfortunately, the missing
'nt made him come across as an arrogant bugger.
If I've got that wrong, Jerry, then you
