Default Realtime picture-in-picture

Hi,

I've been asked to set-up a mobile usability lab at work and as such need to be able to capture picture-in-picture in realtime (basically I need to combine the picture of someone using a computer with what is going on on-screen).

I've thought of using the canopus TwinPact100 to capture the monitor signal and a DV camcorder to record the computer operator, but I'm still looking for an in-expensive and portable means of mixing these two signals in realtime. Is this best done using a video mixer (they seem to start at around £700) or using a video processing card? I need to use a laptop so I'm afraid PCI cards are out of the question. If a video processing card is out of the question does anyone know of a cheap portable video mixer that can do the job?

Neil
