QuestionI have a ton of Pinnacle MPEG files created using the DC1000. I understand that there is no plug in for Premier Pro to read these. So, I'm guessing, I'll have to open import each file into a Premier 6.5 project. Since they read Pinnacle MPG files. Then export them to an AVI file (which will be very large).

Then, to get the file back to a smaller size, compress it to an MPG file using Premier 6.5 MPG encoder plug-in (by MainConcept).

First of all, has anyone developed a plug-in that allows Premier Pro to read Pinnacle DC1000 MPG files? Or, is there a software package that will do the conversion for me; from Pinnacle DC1000 MPG to a readable mpeg format for Premier Pro?
