I'm getting the clear message that I should either stick with a guest videoing things for a fun informal video, but if I choose pro I should pay out for someone decent.

I will think long and hard about this, but the budget may well decide for me in the end! Either way I am positive I'll have an amazing day...

I totally appreciate your comments GDR about choosing video over photo and I agree that we each have our reasons for preferring our chosen medium!!!
