I assume that one of the motivations for posting is to promote your site and develop this as an income stream.
To be honest, your quickspotz site is in dire need of a design overhaul. I'm also not really sure that your business model is sound; the pay per download market works so well as a model for music and video as the consumer simply doesn't want or need the 'dressings'. It's my opinion that the couple and their parents want a DVD as a keep sake and certainly won't pay to download. Equally, any guest that wants to view the DVD will more often than not create a copy or borrow an original.
Don't get me wrong, I see a potential in what you're trying to develop, but I think you're somewhat limited if you're looking for an off the shelf solution. If you're serious about making this into a businees model I recommend that you invest in creating a bespoke solution. It won;'t be cheap, but what you're trying to do is not something that can be done cheaply in my opinion.
Probably not what you wanted to hear, but bear in mind that by posting affiliate links on the site, you've shown me that you intend to turn a profit out if this. And if you charge people for a service, you need to be able to justify that charge. |
