That sounds to me like you're using full version then - so no need for any apology (not that there was, even if you were using VMS - most people who use that don't realise there are other versions - one of the reasons Vegas re-introduced the "Pro" suffix for version
Anyway, back to the plot. The dlls not being loaded could have everything to do with it. Unfortunately MY version 6 was VMS and I didn't get "grown up" Vegas until v7 and I've never had this problem.
