I have not tried your specific application but I have found a free file transcoder utility capable of doing most any type of file transcode.

Find a free download site for "mediacoder". I think I downloaded it from a web site called soundforge. I know you can find a safe and trustworthy download link at kim kommando's website.

I wasn't sure at first but mediacoder video and audio transcode utilities are pretty impressive.
