It just lacks something to hold the interest. Four minutes of some sort of construction on some sort of satellite dish isn't visually captivating enough on its own. A commentary would give the viewer additional information. If we knew why the dish was being built and what it was going to do, we would have a reason to want it to succeed, for example. |
No, I understood exactly what you meant and you are prefectly correct. A narration would make it more interesting for folks like yourself, otherwise it probably is boring, unless you are an engineer. Your critique is quite valid.
My sarcastic retort was to the actual extent of what could be safely (and truthfully) said about this particular event. It would be boring to the average person. The people actually involved in the project, and who know the particulars behind it, do not require such narration, and that is why there is none.
But I certainly appreciate the validation on the technical quality.
