Thanks shiner - I thought I might be opening a can of worms.

Looks like I wont be going tor ultrasharp dof any time soon. The way I film is mostly doc / vp / and when i am doing some 'set up' stuff I dont have acess to the practical or human resources to make it all happen.

I do like to shoot shallow dof for close ups on people but keeping focus is already difficult enough sometimes.
