Just come across this forum but have just been looking through the posts. I dont claim to be an expert on hardware (far from it) but from what I have read and learnt in the past few months is that their is no point in getting more than 2GB RAM if you are only planning to use a 32bit operating system(O/S). The extra RAM will just not be used 4GB would only be recommened if you are looking at a 64bit O/S) . Hope this has helped you a little
