Hi there

I am very fresh to this and am pretty much stuck. I am using vegas pro 8 (because premiere for some reason crashes my machine as it loads) and all the clips have misaligned sound (the sound lags substantially behind the video) I wonder if I have made some simple error? The tracks have aligned sound if played through say quicktime pro prior to renaming them in vegas.

I am using a sanyo xacti recording in MP4 and transferring to a windows xp machine...

Any thoughts very welcome as at present I am unable to edit at all(!)
