Try this Jodix - Freeware converts DVD AVI MPEG WMV RM to MP3 or iPod Video
I havn't used it because I use PocketDivXEncoder 0.3.60 to convert files to play on my Archos AV700 player. It was a free download but the latest version is not. PocketDivXEncoder has more ways to edit the output
