I have 4x19 inch all running at 1600 x 1200 with one as preview, and for me that is just enough.

They were well cheap matching s/h crts. My desk is bending and my electricty meter spins fast.

I would much prefer non widescreen tfts but the price of 1600 x 1200 screens is prohibitive for me.
