Interesting and has potential. I feel the shots need to say something. You could build up a loose narrative based on various shots around the city. When you do it proper, definitely use a tripod. Check out experimental film maker Godfrey Reggio for inspiration. He made a film called Koyaanisqatsi: Life out of Balance using cityscapes with slow motion and time lapse.
