Although I don't believe in any religion I must take exception to the phrase "superstitious belief". in answer to a perfectly reasonable question.

My (somewhat limited) experience of working for Indian/Asian television would suggest that bright colours, digital effects and things which seem a bit "tacky" for western taste, go over well for those from the Indian sub-continent.
