Wasn't a very elegant solution and I'm sure there's a better one
Running v late at the mo, so i'll write a quick guide soon. Essentially though, I created a black video, trimmed it so that there was a black strip with a white back ground, set the transparency to white, then used the motion setting to move it down. Explain better later.
