Interesting notion trm. I've not experienced the problem (yet) but I think you may have a very valid theory. On my ADVC 110 there is a sticker (albeit small) warning not to hot swap and make sure the unit is switched off before connecting. I think I'll go with the cautious option from hereon and would advise everyone else to do the same. |
