Two lines of though on this. They are basically the same excpet for a different file format.

basically though, you need to export your movie from Premier Pro as either an AVI file or as MPEG2 format. MPeg2 format will produce a M2V file for the video and a WAV file for the sound.

Decide on your format then export your movie. open Encore and start a project then either import (as an asset) the AVI file or the M2V and WAV files. Drag and drop them onto a timeline in Encore.

I personally prefer to export from Premiere pro as M2V and WAV files because my experience is that AVI files are not interpreted correctly as widescreen during preview in Encore. (Also I can export M2V file svery quickly with my setup from PPro so another reason fro me to do it there).

Either format ultimately produces exactly the same result though. Just a question of preferred workflow really.
