Hey guys - new to the forum. I just got Pinnacle S. Pro 10 the other day as a gift, but everything I've been reading about it concern the instability of it. I haven't used any other home software, but I know Avid pretty well - so that's why Pinnacle appealed. I haven't opened it yet, because the store won't return opened software.

With all the bad comments on SP 10, I'm looking at other editors. Mainly Adobe Elements 2.0. Do the patches for SP help? Is it worth keeping, or should I look elsewhere? I can't really test it out, because if I test it, I keep it, essentially.

Never used anything Abobe other than Audition for audio, so I don't know how the video software is. Any advice would be great.
