Sorry, my mistake.

I have a TRV33, but I assume that the procedure is the same for all sony cameras.
Incidentally the yellow cable is the video cable. Red and white are audio cables. Anyway,

1. Set up both cameras t PLAY/VR mode and attache the Yellow Red & White cables to each other.

2. On the MinDV camera press the FN key on the screen and then press PAGE3

3. Press the REC CTRL button

4. Press play on the micor dv cam

5. Press REC START on the mini dv.

As I say I don't have your camera but hopefully this will work.
