I hope you can help. I have a slight problem in transferring footage from MicroMV format to MiniDV tape. Can I ask - is this possible.

I have approx 5+ hours of MicroMV footage which I want to edit and I cannot unless I use the software supplied with the camera.
The Micro MV camera is a Sony DCR-IP220E and I also have a Sony (MiniDV) camera model DCR-TRV20E.

What I want to do ideally is transfer the footage from MicroMV to MIniDV so that I can edit. I saw that you had a while back someone with the same problem.

I think the advise given was to hook the cameras up together using SVideo and then record tape to tape. When I plug my two cameras together I can view the footage on the miniDV camera but cannot record.

Any ideas how I can physically record the footage from the MicroMV camera onto MiniDV tape??
