You can get the same quality (as far as I'm concerned) by using plain vanilla Premier Pro 1.51 because it's the same cineform codec. The reason I use Aspect HD is the realtime editing it allows. Now you can live without that as it doesn;t speed up the final export. The main reason for buying it is the 'crippler'.
You cannot capture high def in plain vanilla Premier Pro (at the moment at least) and use the clip in other packages like After Effect or Particle Illusion without the full plugin. Possibly a con, but it is a good product and I don't regret buying it.
