so it soundslike the best thing I can do is get a standalone TBC unit such as the datavideo TBC-1000, but that would seem to add a lot of expense to the project

would it be cheaper to get a TBC VCR than to spend £250 on a datavideo TBC?

if so do any UK forum users know where I can find such a TBC VCR?
