okay, im in add/remove programs. I can't see anything with codec in its title. All adobe related programs include; adove acrobat 5.0, adobe download manager (remove only), adobe mpeg encoder and adobe premiere 6.5

The only programs in this menu that i'm not familiar with are the windows XP hotfix's, there are about 30 of them all labelled with different numbers.

I'm guessing done of this is useful to solving the problemo!?!?
