Video Editing Forums: Digital Director - View Single Post - mac and final cut pro, possible to buy for £1000?

i've tried final cut pro on an ibook and though it is possible i wouldn't suggest it for projects over 30 secs. to render 20 mins of video it estimated 6 hours, final cut pro is awsome though and if i could afford to get it and a dual g5 powermac i'd be in heaven.
