I'd like to know what hardware I will need to set up a basic video editing suite. So far I have the following:

• Sony mini DV camcorder
  Laptop running windows XP with free USB 2.0 plugs (no firewire, but could get firewire PCI card.
  Jessops wide lens

So far I think I need:

• External hard drive (USB 2.0)
  DVD RW
  Tripod
  Some decent softwere
  A mic

Am I missing anything from these lists?
