I have used MediaStudio Pro since version 6.0

In terms of digital video editing the software is excellent. You will be able to produce professionally presented videos without any great difficulty.

The main problem with version 6.0 is that it is now a full revision out of synch (latest version is 7.0) with the rest of the market place. The main implication in this is the number of codecs bundled with version 6.0

If your output media is a DV IN enabled camcorder, or WEB Streaming, then there won't be any problems. However if your output media is DVD then you will have to use a seperate encoder to make your MPEG2 file DVD compliant.

The only other main drawback on version 6.0 is that there is no real support for widescreen movies.

All of these drawbacks are resolved in version 7.0

All said, pretty good package though.
