Default Help needed authoring YouTube HD avi files to DVD

First, I am a total newbie to DVD authoring, so please bear with me. I have several files which I have downloaded from YouTube in HD quality using ‘YouTube Downloader HD’ I want to burn these files to DVD in the highest possible quality - AVCHD? to watch on my TV. The problem is, the DVD authoring software I am using does not recognise these files. I am using Corel Movie Factory 7 and Adobe Encore CS4. I can play the video using VLC player. The media information is:

Audio Codec: mp4a stereo, 44100 hz
Video Codec: avc1, resolution 1280 x 720
Frame Rate: 29.97

My TV is a Panasonic TX-P42G10 plasma full HD. My player is a Panasonic DMP-BD30 which plays blu-ray and most DVD formats.

Any help is much appreciated!
