Hi, this is my first post here but probably won't be the last as I am a huge noob. I recently bought my family an HD video recorder, I've been taking a bunch of movies and storing them on my pc, I want to move them onto my external hard drive but the format of the hard drive is fat32, fat32 doesn't allow a file larger than 4gigs to be transfered on to it, before you ask why it's in that format it's because I hook it up to my PS3 and that is the only format it allows. I am planning on buying a new hard drive but I'm going to put it off until after christmas but my computer is just getting too full and need to move them over soon.

My question is does anyone know some free software that will split .avi files that are large into two or more smaller files, something easy for now until I can get some cash together to get some real video software.
