No idea but here's a couple of things to try.

You are importing via File | Import | DVD Camcorder disc aren't you?

Try importing to a different folder. (Change the destination when importing)

I must admit I'm a little confused. I didn't think you could import anything until the DVD was finalised. But if you'd finalised the DVD then how could you add more footage?
