Oddly enough the angle of the movie frame doesn't look quite as severe on a 28" Widescreen TV. Although you are quite right about the text, it is just within the safe area for TV viewing.

The text effect is one of the standard 'drop' effects from Ulead Mediastudio v7. Looking back at this I think you are right that it looks just a little too divorced from the image. So if I was doing the title again I would probably make the text a bit bigger and move to the left a little.

The same drop effect could be achieved with any moving path. Although to get it the same as this you would have to move each letter indiviudally. A lot of work but perfectly feasible though.
